The morning started at the fire station just like
any other morning for the twins and the other firefighters. Washing the fire
engine and the ladder truck on the ramp in front of the fire station’s open
bay doors. At the start of their day the fire trucks were cleaned and
all of the equipment on them was checked to be sure it was working, in case
it was needed. The drivers also must check the brakes and the emergency
lights on the ladder truck and fire engine as part of their daily morning
checks. They would need to be ready for any emergency.
